Tender Coordinator
As a Tender Coordinator at SACO Airport Equipment (part of SMA Group), you are responsible for organising, coordinating, reviewing, and partially executing the entire proposal process, from the initial request to the final order. In collaboration with the Sales Manager, you analyse incoming requests to determine the necessary actions and identify potential risks. You coordinate between various departments to gather all required information in order to prepare an accurate and competitive proposal. You will be supported by your colleagues in the department, who assist with calculations and compiling the proposal documentation.
Additionally, multiple requests often come in simultaneously, making it essential that you carefully monitor the progress of each one. You ensure that all deadlines are met and that the proposals meet the high-quality standards of our organisation. The ability to efficiently manage various tasks while maintaining both time and quality is crucial. In doing so, you contribute to the success of SACO Airport Equipment by ensuring that the proposals are both commercially attractive and technically feasible. You stay informed of trends in tender technology and take the initiative to implement them within the department.
You will be part of the Sales department, which consists of a Sales Director, two Sales Managers, a Tender Manager, a Calculator, and two Sales Support staff members.
« If you enjoy working on multiple requests simultaneously, coordinating them, and meticulously developing proposal processes that vary in time and scope, then this is the job for you. »

You often receive customer-specific quote requests that require specific components, but suppliers don’t always provide quotes on time. What do you do?
You start by reviewing the available information on the prices of similar components and materials to create an initial estimate. Over time, you’ll develop a stronger sense of costs, refining your estimations. Next, you work this estimate into a more detailed breakdown to arrive at a final price estimate for the proposal. This requires precision, a solid understanding of market prices and materials, and an analytical approach to deliver a realistic proposal within the set timelines.
